Important Information for the Person Interested in Joining H&I
What is H&I?
H&I is a Subcommittee of Narcotics Anonymous. We bring NA presentations to facilities such as prisons/jails, rehabs and detoxes where access to meetings is limited. This is often an addict’s initial awareness that this remarkable program exists! We carry The Message to the addict who still suffers, which is our Program’s Primary Purpose. We share our Experience, our Strength and our Hope! We make a commitment to a facility and then bring regular presentations to that facility, accompanied by a speaker that we line up. We show the person just beginning their journey in Recovery where to go when they leave treatment!
Regardless of your clean time today, you can immediately get involved!
Begin by attending an H&I Subcommittee Meeting, held at St. James Church, Pearl & Fair Streets in Kingston at 7PM on the 3rd Thursday. Learn what we do, hear where there is a need for our presentations, see what will work for you and get your training done so you can hit the ground running as soon as you meet H&I’s clean time requirements!

Important Information for the Facility Interested in Bringing in H&I
The purpose of an H&I Presentation is to carry the NA Message of recovery to addicts who do not have full access to regular Narcotics Anonymous Meetings. If you feel your facility can benefit from an NA presence, please reach out to us to begin the process! We look forward to working with you.
